Astronomers Discover the Biggest Quasar from Early Universe Using Maunakea Observatories

This discovery has been made with the help of three Maunakea Observatories in Hawaii. These include W. M. Keck Observatory, the international Gemini Observatory, a Program of NSF's NOIRLab. The quasar is being referred to as Poniua’ena.
